Valley View Participates in "UTAH READS" Statewide Readathon
Books were open and reading was happening throughout Valley View Elementary as students and staff participated in the statewide Utah Reads Readathon.
A highlight of the day was a special read-aloud with Principal Thompson. Kindergarteners and 1st graders were thrilled to listen as she shared a story, bringing everyone together through the joy of reading.
The schoolwide celebration reflected Valley View’s commitment to helping students value reading and become lifelong learners. Reading builds vocabulary, strengthens understanding, sparks curiosity, and opens doors to new ideas and adventures.
By making time to read together, Valley View’s students and staff showed that reading matters—and that a love of books is something worth celebrating!
