Valley View fourth graders got an up-close look at animal adaptations during a visit from the Loveland Living Planet Aquarium. The aquarium’s outreach presentation helped students explore Utah’s ecosystems and the structures plants and animals use to survive in their habitats.
Students met a tiger salamander and a Russian tortoise, and they even had the chance to touch the tortoise. The experience brought their fourth-grade science learning about organisms functioning in their environment to life.
